‘Conquering Monza”

An original watercolour featuring John Surtees guiding the Legendary Honda RA300 V12 towards its only victory, after taking the lead on the last lap to win an incredible debut Victory at the Italian Grand Prix at Monza in 1967. The car would never again reach the same heights  of success and was replaced at the second round of the 1968 season.

I personally had this artwork signed by John Surtees at his home shortly after Uli had completed the painting in 2011. The painting features on page 21 of the Uli Ehret limited edition book "Racing Legends" Volume 3.
